About Uluru Sunrise
A guide for your morning at Uluru
Uluru Sunrise is an independent guide for everyone planning to watch the sun come up over Uluru. Here you will find how the sunrise tours from Yulara compare, what to expect at the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area, how the light installation at dawn works, which walks suit Kata Tjuta and the base of the rock, what to do in the park, when to go, why the climb closed and what the park pass costs.
The site is available in English and five additional languages. It is written first in English.
How we research
Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: mostly Parks Australia's own pages for Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, climate averages we calculated from the NOAA records of the Yulara Aero weather station, and the listing data of the tours we show. Prices are the starting prices the tours carry on GetYourGuide, plus the park pass price as Parks Australia states it.
Uluru and Kata Tjuta are sacred to Anangu, the park's Traditional Owners. We follow the park's own wording on culture, we do not retell Tjukurpa stories, and we pass on the photography requests Anangu make of visitors. We tell you plainly what each listing states and what it leaves open.
How we make money
Uluru Sunrise is funded through the GetYourGuide affiliate program. When you book through one of our links, we receive a commission; your price remains the same. There are no advertising banners here, and we do not sell your data.
Who is behind it
Uluru Sunrise is run by Lukas Weber from Munich. You will find all details about the provider in the legal notice. The easiest way to send questions, comments, or corrections is to email [email protected].
